This is my second post on how to get Google adsense account. View my first post on How to get Google Adsense account approved easily.
How to get Google Adsense Account through YouTube?
Earlier it was very tough to get Adsense account through YouTube. Only the ones having lot of videos and views were considered for monetization by Google Team.. But the things have changed. Google now provides Adsense account for every one even with a single video uploaded. (My friend even got the account without even uploading any videos :-) ).
What you have to do to get things going?
The primary thing is to have a Google account (I believe all of them have 1 account for sure. if not sign up for one here. Provide genuine details and also upload your photo. Google should believe you are seriously interested in Google Adsense while applying to it.) Next thing is to login to YouTube with your Google account.
Create a channel and upload a video (if no video is uploaded yet). Do not try to upload a copyrighted content. Always go for something new. Any video will do (eg: videos with your friends or family, or anything you want your visitors to view. I stress on never ever upload any copyrighted content. Share the link among your dear ones (through facebook, twitter, google plus etc).
Now got the monetization tab in the settings-->channel settings. click on enable my account button. Here you will be asked to accept the terms and conditions.
Now click apply.
You will receive an email from YouTube stating your account is enabled for monetization.
Go to YouTube channel settings-->Monetization, you will see some Guidelines and Information section. Read this section carefully. Here you will see a link to associate an Google Adsense. Click that link. Two options will be displayed
1) Create a new AdSense account
2) Use an existing AdSense account
Go for the 1st option and click next. You will be provided with a application form. Fill it and apply. You will receive an email regarding your Adsense account status.
NOTE:- This account will be a hosted account. ie you can place ads on any Google hosted websites, for example blogger. For getting codes for placing in non-hosted sites you need to apply in the Adsense account. Even if the application for placing codes in other websites get rejected, your hosted adsense account will not be disabled, ie you can still monetize your videos.
